BTH/500/1000/B Hydraulic Mixing Bowl Tipper

This Mixing Bowl Tipper is designed to lift and tip a large mixing bowl at a discharge height of 1000mm. The Mixing Bowl Tipper is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, is a TIG welded construction throughout and would be bolted to the floor. This Mixing Bowl Tipper was powered via a hydraulic powerpack and tipped the containers by the extension of a pair of stainless steel hydraulic cylinders to an angle of 30 degrees past the horizontal. The hydraulic cylinders are fitted with a safety check valve such that even in the unlikely event of a hydraulic hose failure, the raised bin will not fall to the floor.

Mixing Bowl Tipper Electrical Control

This Mixing Bowl Tipper is fitted with an IP65 Stainless Steel Control Panel which is mounted on the main frame at a convenient position to give good maintenance access under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER). Upper and Lower end of travel limit switches are positioned to prevent inadvertent adjustment or damage but are easily adjustable by trained personnel for fine adjustment on site.

The control panel incorporates dual UP and DOWN pushbuttons with a simultaneous control relay for each operation. The Mixing Bowl Tipper operation is based on a ‘hold to run’ principle such that either both ‘Up’ or ‘Down’ pushbuttons must be held for the Mixing Bowl Tipper to operate, as soon as a button is released, the Mixing Bowl Tipper will stop. The control panel has a volt free pair of contacts which can be used to connect a ‘Call to Run’ signal if required.
